The end of the Holiday Season it is a good time to mention that Homeowners’ Policies have limited theft coverage for certain items. Some of the more popular items are: 

• Firearms
• Jewelry (e.g. rings and watches) and
• Silverware

Coverage is usually limited to $1,000 or $2,000 for loss from theft. The good news is you can schedule the items on your policy for the actual value.
