Work Comp Fraud and The Price is Right.

I won't pass judgement on this one because we've all had that adrenaline rush where things that should have hurt did not - so maybe a Drew Carey call down has that kind of impact on her. 

 

 

 

 

I like that she indicated that she was in pain the entire time - if so, she makes Hepburn and Brando look like amateurs. 

Despite my reservation to judge, she did plead guilty to fraud when investigators not only discovered this appearance but also photos of her ziplining on her Facebook page. 


This story is mildly amusing but mainly irritating when you consider she was reportedly receiving $3,000 per month for a bogus injury for several months.  Fraud like this has a very negative impact for honest Employers that maintain Work Comp Coverage - and sadly it is not uncommon.
